Lady Gaga - The Good Girl Collection
Following from Naomi's recent body of work made for The Saatchi Gallery referencing societal programming and conformity, this piece forms the first in the trilogy of the new 'Good Girl' Collection. Created exclusively for The Bad Reputation Show at the Riverside Studios in London, this piece features a portrait of Lady Gaga always fighting for the liberation and love of others and sending vital messages through her music and storytelling with her art. There will only ever be one Lady Gaga and it was only right that she joined Miley Cyrus and Rihanna as part of The 'Good Girl' Collection; celebrating and thanking awesome women who dare to kick back, push boundaries and re-write the narrative on what a 'Good Girl' stands for in today's world.
The original is painted on wood with acrylics and spray paint and was inspired by her debut cover of British Vogue and her words that she said to Edward Enninful on set that you can see written around the piece; "I have found the art of my own nakedness, I have found the art of my own nudity, I have found the art of my bare face and I want to celebrate the pieces of myself".
